Eating at JCL this evening, a memory I didn't want to remember crossed my mind. I displaced it from my mind almost immediately, but the thought came back to me just now, and I wrote some haikus about it.

sipping on iced tea
suddenly recalling all
that that used to mean

such sweetened iced tea
the way she used to have it...
no longer germane
