There's a quiet air about the campus tonight since we lost the football game to OU. I mean, people here are pretty football crazy to begin with, but this is our big rivalry game, so it's especially significant. The entire city of Austin is pretty somber after the loss. They dimmed the lights on the tower; to give you a sense of the significance, the only other occasion I've ever seen the tower lights dimmed was in memory of September 11- yea, we're that sad.

In other news, my parents came down to Austin today. We had dim sum for lunch and steak for dinner. Mmmmmm... steeeeeaaaaaak. =P~~ (*drooling*) Yea, in addition to my sweet tooth, I've got a meat tooth, heh. But yea, they just don't serve good meat very often in the cafeterias here. And even when they do, it's a far cry from a real steak. Gone are the days of steak once or twice every week. =( That's gotta be one of the things I miss most about home. Seriously though, I don't get enough meat here; I can see/feel my muscle mass decreasing, blehhhh... I'm shrinking! =(
