In one of the stalls of our bathroom, there's some funky cryptic message in either a foreign language or some kind of code carved into the wooden door amid the usual obscenities. But I get the feeling it probably has its roots in like that goth/vampire worshippy stuff, cuz there are some goths in the dorm. I've got no real background in linguistics to speak of, but I think I'll make a goal out of translating it before the end of the year. It's unusual; maybe it's cuz it's an "honors" dorm or whatever, but only that one out of four stalls has any marks of vandalism. But anyways, back to the mystery message, one of the biggest clues I have is that the last word: (D, I, zero, sideways Star of David, !) vaguely resembles the word "DIOS" followed by an exclamation mark. The fact that that means god in spanish (and probably some other Latin-based languages) gives me more reason to believe the message is gothic in nature. And another word is a single character (a star), which I believe is "a"- either the indefinite article or roughly 'to' in Spanish. But, ummmm... yea, that guy from Disney's Atlantis really knew his stuff. This is gonna be tough...
