A construction-type crew started work today on repairing my house's foundation. My house is on this elevated piece of land, and apparently the ground had started sinking, and cracks had formed all over my house. Anyways, the work involves a good deal of jackhammer use, which is reeeeaaaally hard to sleep through. Uggghhh, what a way to start off your morning- being woken up by a jackhammer. Blehhhhh. Oh yea, and they chopped down half the trees in my front yard. ACK! The foundation work could take several weeks, after which we might need to redo the landscaping and get the interior of the house redone.
