I just got back from an MIT info session. They showed a rather amusing video, and that was probably the highlight of the entire evening. Umm... the most pertinent piece of info that I got out of the presentation was the fact that, after scholarships, grants, financial aid, etc. etc., the average student contribution is like 5 or $6,000. Wow, that's like as cheap as in-state tuition. But I dunno, I'll ponder on that thought more if I get in.
Ummm... oh yea, there was this really tall guy sitting right between me and the podium. It was so annoying; I just wanted to like chop his head off or something, haha, j/k. =P I had to miss like 3 club meetings to go to this thing though. Man, I'm so busy on Mondays; I haven't gone to real Monday kung fu class like since like August. Oh yea, my Dad (and I) got lost on the way there too; man, stupid Yahoo! maps... grrrr! Getting lost in downtown is an extreme pain in the butt. We had to get on a highway and drive like a mile before we could turn around as opposed to about 10 ft if we coulda just made a U-turn.
