I'm going in to A&M (Dallas) again tomorrow; at least that's what's supposed to happen. Man, I've been waiting for this job all summer. I expected to get hired in early June and work through my summer vacation. Early June, my mentor says that he wants to wait until the end of the fiscal year in July, so he'd hire me (and my science fair partner) after the 4th of July. After that, we tried to schedule another meeting, but our mentor cancelled on us again and put it off for a couple more weeks. Then he says that the fiscal year ends in August, so he can't hire us yet. So, I basically wasted my summer waiting to start a job that wasn't even a possibility. GRRRR!!! I'm pretty pissed. You're supposed to make yourself look all busy and everything the summer after your junior year (to look good for colleges). Man, my mentor screwed me over pretty badly I think. Geez, I better hope I pull off some kinda miracle score on the SAT 2's and make National Merit then...
