I was trying to explain to a (female) friend what Starcraft was, since she didn't know. I tried to make a comparison based on a game she'd already played before; this is the best i could do:

"how about this: it's kinda like Oregon Trail, except a lot more killing, less thinking... and throw in some aliens"; "or maybe SC's more like Logowriter, except the turtle goes around killing stuff... now imagine [turtle1 and turtle2] fighting with [turtle3 and turtle4]... and u've got something like Starcraft."

man, i haven't played either of those games in ages. i used to be the Logowriter MASTER!!! =P
